Science on the MOVE----Get your students out of the classroom to discover what is GPS, how does it work, and how it is used in GIS.
Participants will download and use a GPS tracker to discover how satellites use trilateration in order to find your phone or you use your phone to find locations. 2. Communicate information about how some technological devices use the principles of wave behavior and wave interactions with matter to transmit and capture information and energy.
*Device: Cell Phone; other is optional for google lesson plan
