We’ve all sat where they are sitting. We’ve all been bored in a classroom or a professional development meeting. What if there was a way for your students to never have to feel that moment of boredom, dread, or despair? Take this journey with us and learn how to not become “that” teacher. We can’t promise to make you the hippest, coolest teacher on the block, but we can help you reach your students on a whole new level. It involves risk, discomfort and a little challenge, but the results are well worth it. Are you brave enough?

This will be an interactive workshop-style presentation, so come ready to share ideas and network. You will walk away with a “ready-to-use-tomorrow” lesson (no planning needed), as well as ideas on how to step outside of your own comfort zone to really inspire and connect with your students. If they see you take a risk to meet them, they will be more willing to take a risk themselves, and will end up thinking harder and experience authentic learning.
