Limited Capacity seats available

CK-12's free platform is changing the way students are learning. This session offers educators of all grades and subjects a hands-on demonstration of CK-12's content and modalities of learning: lessons, videos, interactives, real world applications, activities, and study guides. CK-12's free Adaptive Practice, which is available on any device, personalizes learning by challenging students when they demonstrate proficiency and supporting them with recommendations when they're struggling. CK-12's PLIX Interactives and Simulations provide learners with over 1,200 dynamic, online explorations to promote critical thinking and deeper understanding of content. CK-12 FlexBooks®, a free alternative to costly and outdated textbooks, can be customized to localize content and align with state and district standards. This discussion will include strategies for teachers using CK-12 to differentiate in a variety of learning environments, including ways to use CK-12 as a full curriculum, for independent learning, as stations within a classroom, as a flipped classroom, and more. An overview of CK-12's integration with learning management systems (including Google Classroom, Canvas, and Schoology) will be discussed, as well as options for creating assignments and seeing detailed reports on student progress. Educators will leave this session feeling empowered to use CK-12's resources to innovate the way they teach.
