Today's students have grown up in a world where technology has never NOT been at their fingertips. As educators, we need to do our best to cater to our 21st century students; this means best preparing them for the digital world we live in. Students need to know how to read media messages and understand the process of making media. This session will focus on what it means to have a "media literate" classroom and will provide its participants with practical examples and strategies of how to do so.
