Limited Capacity filling up

Debbie Lamb will share how students use technology to bring excitement into the classroom in ways never thought possible. Students are introduced to various e-portfolio options and opportunities for organizing and keeping track of materials. Following, students begin to value the importance of developing creative e-portfolios to stand out amongst their peers. In turn, students actively look for ways to get more involved in their school and community to add extracurricular activities and volunteer work.

The software used in the e-portfolio development can be as simple as Google Slides, Wiki, and more. In the session, Debbie will showcase not only her personal Google slideshow e-portfolio as well as other software options found for e-portfolio development. Also, a few students will present their e-portfolios. Come ready to share what is used in your classroom and everyone will leave more informed about e-portfolio options whether their students are going directly into the workforce, to college, attending technical school, or preparing for job as well as professional career interviews. The session goal is for everyone to become more knowledgeable through collaborative conversations about ways to enhance and grow e-portfolio ideas from basic to advance in the classroom.
