There are a series of technology terms floating around in K-12 related to web based instruction for K-12 students. Terms such as on-line, hybrid, blended, personalized and other types of instructional strategies are some examples. For the K-12 teacher trying to develop interventions to facilitate student learning it might be difficult to understand what all these mean and what is the difference between them. In this session we will discuss various types of strategies for offering web-based instruction to K-12 students and important concepts that should be considered in developing these interventions. A focus on the integration of educational media, learning management systems and other web-based tools will also be discussed
